You can recognize some songs after just three piano notes, and The Fray has written a remarkable number of them. On Monday, November 9, the American band will perform at La Madeleine in Brussels, featuring all their classics as well as new music during the “Autumn Light Tour.” Tickets go on sale Friday, March 20, at 10 a.m. via livenation.be. Since their breakthrough in the early 2000s, The Fray has been known for their emotionally charged alt-rock: big enough for arenas, yet intimate and straight from the heart. With legendary songs like “How to Save a Life,” “You Found Me,” and “Over My Head (Cable Car),” The Fray has written songs that have since become part of the collective memory of an entire generation. Their breakthrough hit “How to Save a Life” spent 58 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, became an anthem for the Emmy-winning series “Grey’s Anatomy,” and grew into a global classic. The song, and the debut album of the same name, catapulted the band to international fame and earned them a string of accolades, including four GRAMMY nominations and three Billboard Music Awards. Last week, The Fray released their new album “A Light That Waits.” It is the band’s fifth studio album and their first new record in ten years. The album features songs that combine the recognizable intensity of their biggest hits with new musical perspectives. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to enjoy The Fray’s iconic hits and brand-new music in the intimate setting of La Madeleine.
