Reporting

Read Path exploration

Understand the app discovery-to-purchase comparison and how custom-link sales fit into your reports.

What the graph shows

In Traffic, Path exploration compares recorded activity for the selected period:

  1. Card views: event card displays.
  2. Event opens: openings of the event.
  3. Buy tickets: selections of the ticket button, when a ticket destination exists.
  4. Ticket purchases: qualifying app-origin admission orders, when available for a Nooba Ticketing event.

The final stage is currently app-origin orders, not every sale from every channel. It includes paid and free admission checkouts recorded as coming from the app. Each qualifying order counts once even when it contains several tickets. Guest-list orders and product-only orders are excluded.

An app-origin order can still carry campaign attribution. A campaign label does not by itself remove that order from the app-origin purchase count.

Example event — the final stage counts qualifying app-origin admission orders, including free checkout.

Assume your custom links lead to Nooba checkout and each order contains one admission ticket:

ResultWhere it appears
100 web orders through custom tracking linksSales and the relevant source rows in Sales analytics.
10 app-origin admission ordersSales, Sales analytics, and the final purchase stage in Path exploration.
110 total admission ticketsThe relevant admission totals in Sales; not the app-only purchase stage.

If ten app tickets were purchased in two orders, the graph would show 2 Ticket purchases, not ten. Orders and admission quantities are different measures.

Do not read the ribbons as individual journeys

The graph compares aggregate counts. It does not trace individual people, prove transitions between steps, or measure exactly how many customers were lost.

Ribbon sizes are scaled for readability. Read the numeric labels. Repeated actions, direct checkout, and separate recording systems can make later stages larger than earlier stages or produce purchases without matching recorded button selections.

Participate is a separate action, not a checkout step. On narrow screens, the comparison appears as an ordered list.

External ticketing

For an external provider, Nooba records Buy tickets selections toward the link. Completed purchases belong to the provider's reporting and are not added as Nooba app ticket orders in this graph.
